@heydonworks 90K sounds a lot, but if you would say it is â…” of jQuery not so much imo. Because everyone counts jQ as the ~30K min+gz.

@heydonworks Yes, I know, because of the debug code. I just wanted to put into relation the file size of 90K before gzipped.

@heydonworks sure, before minified and gzipped. But then jQuery also has > 240K ;-) @yatil

@yatil nvmd. Don’t want to argue either. But those “xy framework” is bloated, everything is out of control without details makes no sense.

@yatil yes, and the tweet of @heydonworks you are referring to makes the impression that one/both frameworks are bloated.

@yatil so the blame (if any) should go to the script author / documentation not the frameworks.

via Tweetbot for iΟS

@yatil but letting any random packer do the job without knowing how the packing script works may result in not expected results.

via Tweetbot for iΟS

@yatil whatever it was, it is at least some combination of two frameworks. “Intended” including vue results in a about ~20k file.

@yatil bullshit. If one uses things not as they are intended, yes. But such false assumptions don’t help both sides. See following thread.
